On July 2, the 2024 Global Digital Economy Conference hosted by the Beijing Municipal People's Government and the Cyberspace Administration of China opened at the China National Convention Center, with nearly 1,000 participants from more than 50 countries and international organizations attending the opening ceremony. Yin Li, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the Beijing Municipal Committee, delivered a speech. The Global Digital Economy Conference 2024 is composed of the main forum, high-level forum, special forum, outcome conference, and the content of the conference covers the data foundation, digital intelligence emerging industries, digital global governance, digital type and digital real integration and other sectors.

On July 4, as one of the important professional forums of the conference, the high-level Forum on Data elements with the theme of "Data Intelligence Driving Innovation & Circulation Linking the future" was successfully held. Chen Ronghui, Deputy Director of the National Bureau of Data, and other leaders attended and delivered a speech.

This forum demonstrated the new mode of data element circulation, new technology of data element service, and new ecology of data industry. In the results release part, the Beijing Municipal Government Services and Data Administration, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, and the Beijing International Big Data Exchange released the annual data element results respectively, and unveiled the Beijing Digital Economy Arbitration Center at the meeting.
